Reblogging my own post… because I just saw it again and I like it! So there!

• Friends: You need good friends… not the shitty kind. It doesn’t matter if you have 1 or 100, but you need the good kind.
• Love: Love somebody. Love something. Give love get love… whatever. It’s like oxygen, for me.
• Passion: Be passionate about something… or everything, if you can! A life without passion is no life at all.
• “Give a Damn”: You need to give a damn about something. Everyone should care about an issue or more than one issue. There’s so many to choose from in this world. We don’t need to go around talking about them 24/7 or trying to get other people to only see it our way, but we need to give a damn. Similar to passion… only different.
• Resilience: You need to be resilient, because people will ALWAYS knock you down. Life - will knock you down. So you have to be able to get up and dust yourself off - otherwise you’ll never make it.
• Humor: Laugh… just laugh. There’s nothing better than a really good laugh… or watching your best friend laugh until she cries. That is hilarious.
• Risk: Taking risks doesn’t always mean you will get what you want, but not taking risks means you didn’t even try. You have to risk in order to win.
• Cooking Skills: One day you will appreciate having these. So, open up a cookbook or find a recipe online (start easy) and give it a try. I think succeeding at cooking is one of the best feelings.
• Goals and Dreams: If you don’t know where you’re going, how in the world will you ever get there?
• A Love of Pickles: Sorry - I just had to put this in here because I can’t live without pickles. :)
• Patience: Not everyone is on the same schedule as you… for whatever it is. Respect that.
• Manners: Well-mannered people are much more respected. Simple as that.
• Motivation: Without motivation, you’ll never get anything done. I’m  not saying that everything needs to be done on time all the time… but without motivation, you’ll never reach goals.
• Family: Respect your parents. Don’t take your siblings for granted. Family might be all you have one day.
• Common Sense: Think before you act. Think before you speak. Think twice and three times before you speak. Take care of yourself. Don’t do anything too stupid.
• Books: Collect them. I know not everyone loves to read… but I think it keeps your brain healthy and it keeps fantasy a part of your life. Even if a book is non-fiction, you still get to imagine all of the people in the book.
• Tunes: Music is the universal language. ‘Nuff said. If you’re not musical, just sit and enjoy it… or learn to play an instrument. OR just sing in your car or in the shower. No shame in that!
• Fun: I love fun. Plain and simple. Let yourself let go.
